KidSport is a Western Australian government program. It gives eligible children aged 5 to 18 up to $500 each financial year towards the cost of joining a club, and the money is paid directly to Fremantle Cockburn Hockey Club.
Eligibility
To receive KidSport funding you need to meet all of the following:
Be aged between 5 and 18 years.
Be named on a current Services Australia Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card, showing the child's name and their Centrelink Client Reference Number.
Be joining a club approved for KidSport, which Fremantle Cockburn Hockey Club is.
If you are experiencing hardship, ask about KidSport financial exceptions.
How to apply
Apply at the KidSport portal. Funding rounds run from 1 July each year.
Vouchers are valid for 90 days, so once your approval email arrives you have 90 days to give the code to the club. Fees already paid cannot be claimed back through KidSport.
If you would like help with your application, contact the Club Development Officer at the City of Cockburn.
